Chevron Tang... Is there something wrong with this picture?

I received this tang from a fellow reefer that grew it in a 110 tall tank from approx >2 inches to its current 5+ inches.
It is fat healthy and shows no signs of disease or issues other than its mouth. Which is why I'm on here. He does not close him mouth fully.
I am not very familiar with this family of tangs and can not say if this is normal or common.
It is eating almost everything I throw in the tank.
It is currently being housed in a 40B tank with 2 other tangs and getting along just fine. There is some aggression between him and the smaller Dusmarnini but hes standing his ground well. Most likely due to the size of the tank.
A little skittish when Im near the tank but when I watch him trough a streaming camera he is constantly swimming and eating.
I have the 40B plumbed into the display 275 where he will end up with the two other tangs some time next week if all is well. I had it in a tub for about 2 weeks and noticed no signs of disease or problems until I put him in the 40B where i could see him from the side better.
Photos and video are attached.
