To answer your question, I think 1 pill treats 400 gallons. So, I broke it in 4 pieces, crushed 1/4 in into fine powder, mixed in tank water, and then put it in high flow. (I have a 90 gallon tank). IT WORKED!
Thee amount of pill used all depends on the size of your water volume and the size of the pill itself as they are made for different dog weights... Too little is no help... Too much, can be dangerous...
