Cost was a huge factor for me. I figured I could do a T5HO setup for $450 or DIY myself an LED fixture for $600. Try $1600... I could have been much more frugal, but I bought excess of everything I need for later projects. I also needed a soldering station, heat gun, etc.
The first half a dozen posts should give you some eye candy!
