I'd classify the green slimer as more of a mid light SPS. I actually have mine in the back of my tank rockwork which is not under direct light and it grows without issue. In fact it grows too fast and into the more shaded areas. I am constantly giving away pieces of it and my green planet which has similar growth.

Mine also has no direct flow. I have the return line above it and a powerhead blowing across the tank whereas it is against the back wall.
