Good point!
Dedicated drive or RAID array is the best with a separate for cache also(even a thumb drive with a couple extra gigs works).. Especially if your going to work with video, it's almost a must!
Since drives are so cheap these days, it's a tiny investment into the future..
And also,a good set of legs and head.. Benro actually makes excellent heads for a very low cost.. I have a Benro 8 series head on manfrotto 3046(I think I remember them being the 3046, as I've had them for quite a few years) legs..
