Great thread Matt and will be following.
Just set my 1200l Deltec back up using dry rock(marco) plus a couple of Gyres so nice to see a thread similar to my own restart. By the way I have found that if you cut a couple of blocks of dense filter sponges into the same size as the gyre pads and cut them to about 8mm thick and sand which them between the gyre mount and the glass the noise just melts away!. I run 12mm glass and the gyres still hold fast as the sponges compress to about 3mm.
