Hello Angel, the 80w T5's are only dimmable in areas with 240v power. If you are in North America they cannot be ramped up and down, however they can be turned on and off using the built in controller.

The USB Dongle that is included with your Powermodule is very specific. There is more too it than just the type of connector on each end. In fact we have 3 different versions of the cord depending on your version fixture, the the cable will prompt your computer to load a driver. With that said, you can certainly buy a USB extension cable to extend it.
