I had the place that built my tank, build my acrylic cover. It's black. They had to measure the overflow box, but it only took them a day to make it.
I think I'm gonna try Bill's idea over the weekend. I'm just flood paranoid. I don't know if this could flood though. At least I know my current system can't flood from my overflow.
