Firstly, upload your images to an image server like Photobucket or Flickr. Then you can easily link them into the RC thread. I suggest this method as I find RC is very slow to host images.
Once your images are uploaded to the image server, copy the URL of the image there, open up the editor here on your RC thread, and use the yellow mountain icon to post the image's URL into the thread.
