This would allow for easier removal for cleaning down the road.
Do not glue to the bulkheads in the overflow. You want the ability to pull the pipes later to clean or remove a trapped fish. I did not glue any parts for my in overflow plumbing EXCEPT a slip to female adapter for my locline to screw into. Other then that I can remove every portion of the plumbing as needed inside the overflow.
