Fin Rot?

Questions guys n girls, I purchased 3 purple fire fishes 2 weeks ago, and they've been in my QT with a blueface and atlantic blue. I'm noticing their fins are shredded on 2 of them. Is this fin rot or are the other fishes picking on them oooor are they picking on each other?

Have you observed anyone chasing them?

Once I seen the AB Tang chase one and it hid under a rock, other than that I haven't seen it again not even when I feed them.

One bad nip and dirty water can lead to that. I've always thought quarantine was for one fish, and one fish only. Maybe the filter is not up to par in that small of an aquarium with that many fish.

Yah! maybe your right, but I've done it before in the past. I put five in the QT and never had a problem. So what if that was the cause, what do I do now? Should I just make sure the water is clean and upgrade the back filter or is there something esle?
