Nice full tank, beautiful colonies in there. I saw a picture of a yellow 'corris' wrasse next to the melanarus wrasse picture but it wasn't listed.

I have also been considering the Bubble King for a tank that I am planning. How do you like this skimmer. In your opinion, what are the advantages of this skimmer. I also believe in purchasing quality components for the tank. "Do it right. Do it once".
However, this skimmer comes with a considerable price tag, so I wanted to ask a Bubble King user if their investment is justified.

Great looking tank! I just actually got the skimmer you're using, so I'm glad that you're giving it nice reviews (I haven't set it up yet, but will be within the next month).

Love the colonies and aquascaping!

Congrats!

I love the Bubble King. I have used Euroreefs and ASM skimmers. There is absolutely no comparison in my opinion. The Bubble King is so well built and the pump is high quality. Im sure there are other skimmers that do as well, but Im sold on the Bubble King.

Thanks Antonais. The melanarus is sometimes aggressive when new wrasses are added. I usually put a mirror up for a few days to keep the melanarus and tangs occupied while the new addition is getting used to things and that usually does the trick.

Congratulations on totm, you have a great tank! I love that red acropora millie with the white polyps. That thing is stunning! Whats the history on that piece?
My other question for you is what is the placement of your 4-Vortechs?
Thanks.

Great looking tank, I think I like the fact you have everything under the tank the most (aside from the beautiful livestock ). Bio-Reef and CoraLogic? Maybe I will run into you one day

Thanks ryshark. The red acro is the ORA Rose millie. I got it years ago as a small frag. It's a great grower and always has great polyp extension.

I have 2 vortechs at each end of the tank. I have 2 placed as high as I can get them without them sucking air. The other 2 are placed are about 8 inches off the top. I will post a picture tomorrow to show their placement. I run them all on reef crest mode.
