ID Please - Conch maybe??? PICS

Anyone have any idea what these are? I was thinking it might be some type of conch but I don't know. Seems like they are multiplying and growing pretty quick. If you know what they are, are they safe?

I agree... Make sure you get a positive ID on it from someone much smarter than me. I lost several snails to a whelk a few years back, and it looked very similar.

I've seen those referred to as a horse conch, but is a whelk. Should eat snails if I'm not mistaken!
