Spiny's reef addiction
I've been putting off making my own tank journal for a while. Here it is now!
I have 2 tanks, one is a 2 year old 120g DIY 4x2x2 reef in my living room running LNS on vodka,*while the other is a 3 month old DIY 3x2x16" hightech grow-out tank in the basement. FTS 120g ![]() 120g left side ![]() 120g right side ![]()

Everything was started as frags at most 3 years ago in my first reef which was a 65g

The second tank was supposed to be a frag tank, however I couldn't resist adding a little LR and making it look a bit nicer. I'm in the process of replacing the 120g with something slightly bigger, so most of the frags in this tank, will make it in the new combined reef within the next couple of months. There are a few mini colonies, but most specimens in this tank are still frags

Well, calcium was dropped to 220ppm (not a typ0) so all growth tips and colored tips disappeared!

Where did you get this "Sekisiensis"? Is that the right ID?

ID came from seller, a canadian online frag shop. http://sdmas.com/corals/862.php It could be wrong, but it looks pretty similar
