I have had a large blue Maxima for a few months. I noticed this was alive today when a fish swam by and it closed like the clam. oyster?

It is a small clam but not a tridacna. I have one in a coral plug and another on the shell of my maxima. They do not have a mantle like the tridacnas.

Neat, it has teeth like things. Think Venus fly trap but further spacing.
