Bubble Blaster Pump Guarantee?
I bought a Bubble Blaster 3000 Pump from PA probably 1 1/2 - 2 years ago. The volute is cracked around the outlet. To my knowledge it has never been dropped or suffered any abuse.
Great skimmer pump my only regret is that I wish that I would have gotten the step up and gotten a BB 5000. My understanding is that they have pretty good guarantees. Is it covered by a guarantee? If so do I contact you at PA or who do I contact? Mike Robinson |

These have a 3yr warranty on them. I'm not sure if they had some issue with the volutes when they first came out or not, but you might try contacting Coralvue directly at 985-781-9078 to see if they would take care of it for you.

Could someone clue me in as to what the volute is? I just bought a bubble Baxter 2000s and the threading on the clear piece seems to be broken as it leaks no matter what I do (tighten, plumbers tape, etc). Is that the volute?

The volute is the front cover on the pump. If your case for the BB 2000 it would be the clear piece. The venturi is the piece that has the nipple for the airline to attach to. HTH!

I had a 2&1/2 year old BB5000 split at the prop and they sent me an entire new pump! Great customer service from them!

I dont need/want a new pump, as mine is pretty new. I just need a volute that will stop leaking! I have a new one on the way. Hopefully this one will do the trick because my skimmer is sitting on the tank, ready to roll, and I need it back in production ASAP!
Thanks all!
