are T5 HO's cancer causing radiation like the sun?
my new light fixture sits about 7" above my tank for now, until i can hang it lower. its right next to a dinner table, and half of the dinner table gets lit up. so if you're sitting in that half, you have that light hitting you.
So i was wondering, is it like a tanning bed? or is there no radiation in these bulbs? thanks |

For aquarium application the T5HO lamps we use dont typically emit any uv a b or c. A little c may get out but is absorbed by the phospers in the lamps. So no worries. Reptile T5 lamps however do.
