Acan full and open but no color...almost transparent
As the title states....I have an acan that is full and looks healthy other than the color. It is almost transparent at the base with fuller color around the top and center. Is this too much light or not enough light? I have other acans in my tank that are doing just fine.

Could be both, depends where you placed it.
try to move it either to brighter or darker spot.

Transparent usually means you've bleached it. Keep it under the same flow but less light. Should color up

If it's bleached I'd keep it under indirect light for a couple of weeks, and slowly acclimate it to your lights.

I will try moving it around a little and see if that helps.

Same thing happened to my acans. I only had them 5 or 6 inches from the bottom of a 27" tall tank when they turned transparent. I placed them under an arch in the rock work out of direct light and they fully regained all color in about a month. Since then I moved them back into the light on the sand and they are still looking good.*

I've also had a lot of color loss in acans with low magnesium. Is your Mg at least 1300?

I'm going with the lighting. I just put new led lighting on the tank and have the light at 40% power with the acan about 20% from the light. I moved kit to the sand bed and in a little shade so we will see what happens. My mg is 1400.

The same thing happened to me. I moved my acans under a ledge around 6 weeks ago. they are now starting to regain their color. Definitely had too much light.

they are. its on the sand bed tucked under a slight over hang where it gets a little shade. I'll try to get a picture later.
