Great stuff Misled.
Every spring, once March rolls around I tend to get busier than a bee, I usually refer to it as the silly season. Wont have a lot of time to breathe again until the end of June.

Most of mine are with Nikon,s 105mm 2.8 macro, which would be comparable to Canon's 100mm macro. The Tamron we discussed in the other thread would be another that fits this category.

Thank you. Just go out and shoot. Afterwards, look at the pics and see what you did, and what settings were used. Shoot in manual and use different settings. Learn what the camera sees. Then get it to see what you want it to see. That's one of the things that make it fun for me.

I like your advise... Today I got a few good shots in...we have 3 baby birds leaving the nest...but I used an auto setting.....do you mind if I post a couple in your thread?

Feel free. Like I said though. Get out of the auto modes. When you put the pics on your computer, you can view the data to show you your settings. This will help you see what does what. Then ask and we'll explain why.
