Smithii loves pellets!
I was half tempted to add the Nom Nom Nom song to this.
![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJRQqPTmVnw Seems that my Smithii really loves his diet, shrimp tails, live snails and pellets with a well rounded nutritional value. |

My peacock eats pellets too. I have a few damsels in with him and a maroon and every night Charlie does NUTS over them. It really is quite a hoot...

I had a similar encounter with Morgoth back before he and Leviathan shredded every fish in the tank... I use to feed the "greenys" in my tank NORI (for those unaware NORI is the seaweed used to make sushi) on a specially made "plate" (it was just a piece of white plastic eggcrate that I could tie the NORI to). With all the commotion of the fish darting into and out of the NORI, Morgoth grew curious.
When he came out of the sand to investigate the new strange thing that was attracting all the fish in the tank, his "naked" (outside of burrow) presence sent every fish to the surface corners of the tank in a panic stricken state, knowing he has full ownership (of his portion of the tank) Morgoth slowly and cautiously approached the NORI, he took some bites out of it and chewed it up, spat it out, chewed it up, spat it out he kept doing this but eventually there was nothing left to spit out as I assumed he was having a hard time with it, none the less a rather comical site! Even stomatopods are good boys and girls and eat there greens to stay big and strong!
