I also noticed that tweak week option didn't work correctly for me. I'm using the custom table mode and when it got to the last segment (+1 I had it set) I think it went to the next line and did 100%

Ok....this doesn't sound right because my LED temps right now say Actual 85 c and highest 37.6 c and what makes this odd is that only the moonlights are on. This can't be accurate.

At 100% with all channels my temps peak at ~63c with ambient temps ranging from 70-74F (22-23C). I do not use a canopy or any type of fixed enclosure.

Yorgos, what is considered too hot?

Hello,
In all our lamp there is up to 5 dirrent, separate temp sensors(each sensor has separate Atmel processor) - responsible for LED panels temperature control(by changing fans speed). Each panel have his own temperature sensor - it can be easy checked when lamp start - fans above radiator will start working on diffrent time(there can be even few second diffrent between them).
One, separate sensor is connected to computer - and it show LED panel temperature on LCD.
If ther is 85 degree showed on application - it can be sourced by problem with transmition between computer and application.
Please retart lamp(hardware restart - turn off from power supply) - and reconnect with lamp again.

They are very well built. I live in southern California so humidity isn't an issue here but I have had my Hyperion since the first of the year and it is mounted in an enclosed canopy. So far I don't see any issues. Still loving my lamp. Color is awesome, coral health is good, energy savings (between the lamp and chiller) are off the charts compared to my old 1000W of MHs and VHOs. The Hyperion took me from Southern California Tier 5 rates to Tier 3. I highly recommend the Hyperion to anyone considering it.

I had the same thing this week. All I did was a firmware update loading the same version on it again and it worked.

Yep same thing here....

Also I can't get my Colour Studio Live to work anymore. It won't switch over so I can play with different Colors.

What is the deal here.....neverwouldof and others have raised an issue and there has been no response from Pac Sun. My Pandora R2 LED's are out and the LCD panel displays "BOOTLOADER READY". I wrote to Pac Sun, but no response yet. I cannot find the firmware (firmware R2_v3_1f.bin file) on their site so that I can download and try to recover the light. What is up?.......looks like neverwouldof posted the issue back on the 4th of this month.

responded to your pm and heres the thread you will find everything you need. I would also download the owners manual that goes over what to do when this happens. Have you reached out to Yorgos yet?

Steve, No, I haven't spoken with Yorgos yet. I have followed the procedures, but still no joy.

Thanks for providing the links. Strange.....why do they post the updates here and don't put links on their website?

Roy

Hello,
About which lack of response we are talking? I have checked all mailbox - and I cant find any message without our reply..
When you have sent this email?
About firmware/manual/software - everything for your lamp you can find here:
http://www.pacific-sun.eu/index.php?...ra-hyperion-r2
first link - you can download manual
second link - Date - 21.02.2012 - for Metis Hyperion R2/Pandora R2 (8 channels models) - firmware Hyperion_r2_v3_1f.bin(released 21.02.2012) - if you will follow this link - you can see:
http://www.pacific-sun.eu/download/software1c/
where first link from the top - is to firmware in last official _1f version.
Firmware download (Hyperion_R2_3_1f release 13.02.2012): Hyperion_r2_v3_1f.bin

About updates - we are finishing work on newest firmware - there was/is some little bugs - and on the next week it will be finished.
We are also rebuilding our website for more clarify look - so finding any informations/software etc should be much easier..

I have sent two separate emails, one to [email protected] and also to the other email address identified on your site. I realize that there will be no immediate response to my emails....I am simply pointing out that the last post was on the 4th of June and there hadn't been a response post from Pac-Sun. Maybe you guys sent PM's to the person, I don't know.

I went to the links that SPOTTER provided and tried three times to load the software to my fixture. The LCD still says "Bootloader Ready" and the program on the computer crashes and doesn't respond after loading the .bin file. I let it sit and run for 1 hour before ending its task. Your help would be much appreciated.

Hello,
Yes, we found your email - it was delivered to our mailbox today at 4:02am our local time - an d office is opened since 10:00am.
About this thread - of course, we have replied/helped this customer immediatly - and nobody had to wait since 4th June.
This kind of manual hardware which we sugegst customer is not usual "action" - and it shouldnt be done by not experienced customer - so we preffer to inform customers directly, after checking that they will be able to do it - without gettin any new troubles..

In your situation probably also be used the computer's built-in BT module - informed about it a few times - usually described for this error is caused by: a) a weak signal (lamp too far away from the computer) b) not compatible / low quality blue tooth module built into the computer So you probably need wykować manual reset the computer - the instruction was sent to you by email. For the future, please follow our suggestions - and use a good quality EXTERNAL (for USB) Bluetooth module.

Regards

add VHO???

Dear all bros....

I am using the old version of the Pacific Sun LED and will go to replace it with the new 8 channel LED tmw. I had two VHOs (one 454 and one supper actinic) with the old lamp. Since there are full colors with the new new 8 channel LED. Do you think I should get rid of the VHOs??? Thanks

Eric

You will not likely need supplemental lighting with a Hyperion or Triton.

More info would be good on the system specifics..size, dimensions, livestock...
