"Gyre" flow in 125

After reading some of Mr. Wilson's posts on Petersfishtank.com about gyre flow in tanks I want to try it with Tunzes. The tank will be a 6 foot 125g peninsula, with two tunzes up top in each corner on the opposite short wall of the overflow pointing towards the overflow, and two tunzes down low in each corner just above the sand bed on the same side as the overflow pointing away from the overflow. With this I can hopefully get a decent gyre, but I'm not sure what which powerheads to use. I don't want to use controllable pumps because of cost factor. On BRS I'm looking at 6065, 6085, and 6125. Because I need the flow to reach the entire 6' length of the tank, or as much possible, I'm worried that the 6065 won't work because it only pushes 1700gph. That makes me lean towards either 4 6085s or 4 6125s. I know the 6125s will be more than enough, but they are $50 more per powerhead.

What do you recommend for creating a gyre flow in a 6' 125, 4-6065s, 4-6085s, 4-6125s, a different combination of those pumps, or maybe different pumps?

Thanks

The 6125 has a wider outlet and the flow is wider and more diffuse with not as much reach. The 6085 is your best bet. Just keep in mind that you want to give at least 15 minutes between switching pumps off and on and ideally longer, the non controllable pumps will chatter on start up. The 6125 flow reaches nearly 5ft, the 6085, nearly 6ft.
