coral wars
I have a flat rock that has 3 zoa frags on it and there is a green striped small mushroom on it too. Can anyone tell me who will win the war of the rock?
Zoas or mushroom? |

I actually tried to kill the green stripe mushroom with lemon juice and thought I did it but now its back. it is in such a small tight whole that I cannot even try to cut it off the rock so I hope it will not over run the zoas.

why dont you try that lemon juice down that small hole? or prop the rock up so only that area where the mushroom lives is out of water and kill it off, ya the part of that live rock will die but it will come back and depending on how big your tank is. it wont effect the tank cycle.

I did the lemon juice thing but I think i will give it another try again, its very small and only in one spot right now. I think I need to let it sit out after I put the lemon juice in it for a bit longer too.
