29 gal biocube Led ratio
Hello I have a 29gal Biocube and am interested in the retro fit kits, but Led ratio's have me stumped!
I like the blue look but I don't want tooo much blue, and I'm also confused about adding Uv or other spectrum's? Is 14blue/10cw all sps/lps needs? or would 12rb / 4uv / 8cw look good? and be more healthy? or is it all just preference? Also if you don't like the ratio you pick how easy is it to swap out led's? Sorry if these seem like very silly questions, I am very new to the hobby and still have allot to learn, but definitely want to upgrade the lights to house all sorts of corals. Ive keep browsing for other peoples Tank pic's with ratio's. Hope to hear from anyone with experience with this type of question Thanks! Wind |

I'm using 15 blue and 9 white. Been running for about four months now and love it. I have three clams and a good amount of sps

Another question do you need lenses for the led's or will you get good enough light cover from just the led's when they are that close to the water.

Lenses aren't needed, they'll create a lot of spotlighting with the lights so close to the water. Not using lenses allows the light to spread out better/more evenly across the tank as well.
