led supplement ???

Hi all I have a question about some leds. I am either going with brigelux or cree to sup my 3 x 250 halides on my 125g tank 6 ft long. What I am wondering is will 24 be enough to make a difference while the halides are on. I am going all blues and dont want to buy more then I need but want to be able to see a difference when they are on with the halides. Also would you run optics or no optics. TIA.

10K Ushio's here with 445nm EcoXotic Panorama Pro and a 445nm Stunner. It offsets the color of the 10k's nicely without being too blue, it is just for a little actintic pop. What bulbs are your halides?

What fixture is it? Knowing what bulbs you currently have will help a lot in figuring out what you need, a 20k bulb won't need as much supplementation as a 10k bulb.
