Output of skimmer

I'm looking to replace my present skimmer with an SRO2000int. I have a 125 gallon tank with a Megaflow 4 sump. I recently saw an SRO6000int in my LFS sitting in a rather large sump. It was flinging the output water about 18 inches into the side of the sump. Problem is that my sump is much smaller. I'm aware that I'm looking at a smaller skimmer but I'm concerned it will still fling the water out of the sump. At the very least I'd expect it to toss it into the next chamber of the sump. My current skimmer (Aqua Euro) outputs the water straight up so it just falls straight back down into the sump. Is there any kind of adapter that would give me an alternative to throwing the skimmer's output across the sump?

Yes, we have output vents available to accomplish what you are referencing to.

Not hard to find. In the "Skimmer Accessories" link on the right of skimmers page. You can see it HERE. Just call tech support and tell them what you need.
