Bubble in my hammer
I know that sounds like a song right! I have a softball size hammer and I was looking at it and it had a quarter sized bubble of flesh is that normal?

its either be a polyp bailout or it may just disappear. Many times when this occurs it is from stress- check water parameters, and potential irritants.

If you are not testing for alk, cal and mg now, you need to asap.

The hammer coral that I had grew all kinds of new heads and I never experienced a bubble like that. Frogspawn too. It could be splitting, but IMO, it's something else.

I don't think that's splitting, I just noticed a small one on my Candy Cane\Trumpet... will keep an eye on it...
