Adding a second RO membrane
I have a almost new RO membrane off a single stage unit I bought prior to my Max CAP 90 unit.
Can I add the RO membrane as a second onto my MaxCap- what will the gains be? My input pressure is 50# and TDS is around 130 Thx keith |

Yes, you can. Look at our Piggy-Back Manual here for the plumbing set-up:
http://spectrapure.com/manuals/PRINTER_FRIENDLY/PBK.pdf , page 2. You will need some 1/4" tubing, a tee and a flow restrictor capable of at least a 2:1 ratio with your 130 TDS water. You might be able to trim the existing one down. Scott SpectraPure, Inc.
