do you target feed yours? I have a purple that i've had about 6-7mths and about 2 mths ago i had to take out 2 black clowns from hosting in it for nearly 2 wks. it mainly kept closed an i took them (clowns) out. My coral is not looking as bright and healthy as it used to be. any help will be great.

Thanks everyone, Never target fed this goniopora, When I put brine shirmp flakes for the fishes the polyps retract sometimes, but never target fed it, I have maintained low nutrients in the tank and nothing else special

Which brand of T5's are you using? I dont think so lighting could be an issue, can you check what PAR is your goni getting?

Your CA is slightly high keep it between 380-450ppm, and reduce your phosphates to 0, are you running GFO ?
