My temp is 84.5. Heater is "off" but channel is still on. What's wrong?

Why is the display telling me the heater channel is off yet there is still power at the heater? Temp reads 84.5 but the temp is set @ 78.5. Any thoughts?

What system? rkl or rke? what is the exact programming you have on the socket for the heater?

Its the RKL. I reset the module this morning and now it is holding temp where it is set. Maybe needs a power cycle once and a while.
