Question about Mardel Copper...
Im pretty sure this is ICH.. I have a 16 Gallon BowFront QT tank. Question how often do you dose with the Mardel Copper. 5ML per 4 Gallons is all it says on the Bottle..
Yes, he's a little ****ed off in the picture... Hes been like this for awhile, it comes and goes.. And hes been hanging around the Fireshrimp like its a drive thru.

I'm 99% sure this is ich. You need a copper test kit that is compatible with the brand of copper you are using. There are no specific guidelines for how often to dose, Cu just has to be kept at the proper level. Also, unless the fish is really distressed, get him eating in the QT before GRADUALLY( over several days) adding Cu. Expect ammonia to be a problem, unless you have a seeded filter sponge ready. I'd read the sticky on tank transfer before you decide on copper, I'm convinced that its the best way to treat ich. Especially just one fish in a fairly small QT/HT. BTW, was this fish ever in your DT or with other fish you have? If so, they need to be treated as well.

Interesting, I am researching the tank transfer.. The only thing is, these spots on him look to be under the skin, kind of hard to explain.

Ditch the coppersafe and go with cupramine,it is a much better cu treatment and does not take near as much to reach proper levels, get the seachem cu test kit to have the correct one. Avoid the api cu kit as it is faulty and misleading. I have used this in the past but do not know the numbers to keep right now.
