2012 SLASH Officer Nominations

May I nominate Twiggzy for a second term? I really liked his style serving as Member-At-Large.

On a more serious note,
I'd like to nominate myself to be the official "Guy Sitting On A Bench In The Park Who Picks Food Out Of The Trash And Yells At It" for the upcoming term. I've already had a long discussion with myself and verified I am not only able and willing to serve in this capacity, but it would make for a super sweet letterhead.

Kirk, minor detail; I didn't talk to MrDSmack before nominating him. Ill see if I can get a hold of him and if I need to retract the nomination, I will do so. Whoops!

Alright, I met Daniel and Kirk, the frag swap was very impressive(to me). So I would like to nominate them both! I have met a few other members also, if someone else wants to be a club officer they need to speak up.

Here's a direct link to the club bylaws http://slashclub.org/docs/bylaws.pdf These can be found on the club home page in the column on the left side.

Essentially, the VP works with the President to organize club meetings and swaps and helps keep things running smoothly. The member at large is the tie breaking vote for any issues the president and vp can't agree on. It's not in the bylaws but we also see the MAL as sort of an ambassador for the club, someone that regularly attends meetings, helps welcome new members and generally helps promote the club.
