unhappy customer

purchased a 150 clean up crew and i would guess half the crew did not make it.
I sent pictures to them and they claim that the shells are the empty shell they sent with the order. in the picture you can clearly see snails in the shells and they have not moved since i received them.THey did not send spare shells for the dwarf ceriths and all those in the pic have not moved. I did not want to have to go here but i give credit where credit is due, i have emailed a few times back and forth and well i get the same response each time

Maybe with posting this something will be taken care of

Sorry you feel that way. Those really are the empty shells we send though, I can tell because they are all species we don't carry even though some are nerites shells it isn't the same species if nerite we carry and sold you. We can send some refund for the dwarf Ceriths if you insist. They are alive and burrowing or crawling in the photo though so do not discard them they are alive.

They have not moved since Thursday, the reason they are some what in the sand is because of the amount of flow I have. The current has push sand slightly over them. The medium and larger snails, you can clearly see the bodies in the shells, and once again have not moved in since Thursday. I was not asking for a refund, I would like replacements, I ordered a crew because I needed a crew.

The one Netite shell is the species we carry and has an animal in it. The rest are the empty shells they really are. Let me know how much to refund and we will send that out, but we wouldn't fell comfortable sending another shipment.

I must offer that i know my dwarf ceriths look dead aswell , but they move so slow and if you pick them up its so hard to see the body when they tuck in . And i did receive lots of empty shells as well. I doubt these guys area trying to pull a fast one on you, Ive had nothing but good experiences with them . in fact they sent me double what i asked for !

Wow, I am being called a liar and now that really makes me angry, the snail I picked up in my fingers has been laying in the sand upside down since last Thursday that is why I pulled out and took a picture. If everyone would like please come over and you can see the current pictures and where everything is now well has not moved.

I agree, that snail has an animal in it. I am not calling you a liar, I am saying those are the empty hermit shells we sent you. You were refunded for that nerite already, and 19 others that weren't photographed. Again, I am not calling you a liar; I am just saying those are the empty hermit shells we sent you in the picture that you are claiming for a refund.

The original DOA claim had all these animals as DOA:

150 Dwarf Ceriths
48 Nassarius
31 Florida Ceriths
31 Large Nerites, 16 Small to Medium Nerites
32 Hermits
32 Empty Shells

Can you give me the count you think is in that photos? In the mean time I will get a picture of my hermit crab shell bin and send it to you so you see I am not pulling your leg. I am really not trying to rob you, I just think that those are the empty hermit shells we sent you. Let me know if you believe that at least some of those are the empty shells. I have talked about it in a few emails and I have heard nothing back about it.

Issue is being resolved. Talked with them and we came to an agreement. Like stated above to give credit where credit is due.

Give them credit for taking care of this situation.

I would still order from them in the future and take this as a fluke.

Glad everything got resolved. We were sent 3 lbs less of rock than what we ordered but I would've never made a post calling them out about it, just not a big deal.

John is a stand up guy, my experience with them was great. I thought many of my dwarf cerith were doa. Mine lay all over the bottom during the day and look dead, at night they cover the glass like crazy. Unfortunately I threw some of the poor bastards out the first day thinking they were dead :-(. Lesson learned
