Why no Wiki?

It would be awesome to have a marine aquarium wiki. Would be easy to reference a lot of stuff if some of the experts slapped a nice comprehensive one together. I did a google and found very lack-luster wiki pages. Am I just not looking in the right place?

There are various "stickies" at the top of each forum covering quite a few topics.

true, but alot of the stickies lead to information off site, or to archives on rc that dont exist. if there was a wiki, this information would be easier to find for others, and perhaps it wouldnt get database errors like most the stickies in fish disease section. you could have a select group of rc users that can update the wiki, and the rest of rc can "petition" for updates with information they have found.

In the feedback and questions area, there is a question about that. I can't remember what the admin said, but if you do a search for 'wiki' in the feedback section you should see it.
Soon i had planned to create/compile at least an alphabetical 'index' of all the sticky topics.'

The good news is a wiki is something that the staff is definitely interested in and is planned for some point. The bad news is that there isn't any planned date yet as there are several things on admins lists to tackle first that are much higher priority.

Possible wiki-funding?
