Yes. We spend plenty of time on ladders and clippers for the bottom. Skimmers are presision marine dual becket originally for ozone and the big boy is a custom built commercial skimmer from bermuda. Thx attaboy for compliments

Hey Bud,

If you look under the youtube video, theres a SHARE, then theres an "EMBED" button. Click that, then copy and paste everything in that box and put it in your Reply to Thread message.

Also at the bottom, there will be several boxes to indicate the size of the screen you want shown in the thread. 640x480 will work good. Click that box, then copy and paste everything in that EMBED box.

it will show

for instance:

Autodave. Yes i use dd h2o salt. I like very much. I switched away from reef crystals at the old marital residence and then switched from salinity salt in this tank. Numbers on dd are great and ployp extention and color of corals. I cant explain but salinity salt was almostvtoo strong.

Geaux xman i wish i had aformal process but i dont. But sensitive fish that i eant to keep eye on i will put into the frag system first ,but again sane system. There is a uv bulb though on the return pump to main tank. Never any ich issues. I did have some brook or velvet issues in that frag tank. Must have been on the rocks for while as i lost several fish just in that 80gal breeder. I just tok it off line and dried it up for few days and got new rock and presto no more issues. Im struggeling with conspic decision. I love having the pet , but realize the 80 is too small for him. He did too much damage in the main display tasting around. I wouldnt be opposed to selling him to the right new owner..on other hand in few years im going to havve new tanks started at new address and might save him for that. Let me know.

Yes mike. 4 peices of lobo. Fire red in back upper wall. Pink orange on middle bottom , red orange on left sand floor, and lime green orange on sand floor right side. For whatever reason , the angels in the tank leave lobo alone and do not eat it unlike acans where they are gone within a week. Blasto alo they leave alone.,along with aleveapora. So these are things i use on the sand floor along with clams. Glad you enjoyed

Andrew, interested in your light setup.
I run 9x400w Reeflux 10k and 12x80w T5 narvablue. For 6ftx8ftx3ft tank.

I get nice growth with the 10k, but much prefer the Radium bulbs. I have tried 9x 400w Radiums twice and got horrible bleaching. I want a bluer look.

I have now replaced a 10k with a 12k Reeflux and I thought it was very similar to the Radium in appearance?. Maybe I am wrong?.

Do you think 9x400w radium is too much for SPS to take?

What about 9 x 400w Reeflux 12k.

Or would you suggest 50:50 mix of the two?.

What do you feel is the difference between the Radiums and the 12k Reeflux?

Thanks for advice.....

Also, what sand do you use?. Do you siphon with water changes?.
Do you change out the sand?. How deep is your sandbed?

Thanks
Mo

I got goosebumps reading this thread. You are the American dream. Or atleast mine. Hehe.

All those colonies you could start your own coral shop. My gosh.
Great job and I can't wait for the new build in the new house.
