I used the hanging hardware provided by Yorgos, woke up this morning, and found that the weight of the light had caused the plastic Sheetrock anchors the screws screw into had been pulled down causing the screws to fall from them... There is, nor has there ever, been any extra weight on them. The lights have been hanging for about 3 weeks I'd say now.
As such, I had a $2,100 light in my tank that wiped out everything it it's path. I've sent an email to Yorgos, I am very curious as to what him & PAC Sun will do or say to help fix this. I used the hanging brackets they provided correctly. Either way however, I would stay away from those Sheetrock anchors provided, and use something built for more weight, (at least that's what I will do).

eeks ..that stinks....
i used old fashioned butterfly style spring open anchors... except for 1 that i am looking at and saying hmmmm... you may be able to file a claim on your homeowners policy as its an expensive incident... salt water is destructive... |

I opened the unit as Yorgos was ginna send me the guts out of a new one, and the saltwater messed a bunch of components up pretty... Many things were already rusting, and some wires has come out or apart altogether. It's a total loss for all except maybe the LEDs (not sure if they are water tight or not. It turns out that there is soldering needed, so I'm gonna send the light to Yorgos to fix. Hopefully if I can get it there by Wednesday, I'll have it back sometime Friday.

Well, Yorgos deff took care of everything. He got me a very discounted rate on repairing everything and worked we me each step of the way. The guts were swapped out, and he even stayed up late his time fixing the new one. It was top notch service, and I'd buy from him again based on it.
The light will be here by noon tomorrow, & I will be installing a peice of wood with laminate that matches my tank into the ceiling... I'm gonna screw it into the studs, glue it, & use Sheetrock anchors on the ends. When I am done, you'll be able to hang from it. This is the last time I send a light back to Yorgos.
