Question DC4HD power failure question

I have a dc4hd connected at my apex lite version, I have connected in outlets 1-2-3 my 250w mh with icecap ballasts and in outlet 4 a 660 icecap ballast, testing my system, I simulate a power lost at night hours when the mh's and t5 lights are off, when I restored the power the outlets 2-3 comes on and about 3 to 4 minutes outlets go off and system continue to operate normally,

Any help to this outlets stay off if a event of power failure during the night??

It is something I reported to Kurt sometime back and it is being investigated.

This same issue occurred on our tank this week. Power failure in MN due to storms at 4:30 am. The power was out for 5 min. When it was restored, both lights on the DC4HD (hooked to an APEX unit) came on. The Fallback value for these is OFF, and neither light is schedule to come on until mid afternoon (13:00 for actinics, 17:00 for daylights).

I had to manually turn them from AUTO to ON, then to OFF, then back to AUTO through the Apex head to force them off. Is this issue being worked on? Running APEX firmware 4.12L_5A12.

Fallback only works with EB8 and EB4 outlets. It does not work with any other type of outlets, including DC8 and DC4HD.

Ok, understood. Does this imply there are no other means by which the DC4HD outlets can choose the proper on/off states following a power outage? Certainly a firmware change could be provided that improves this type of case.

Post your programming for those outlets.

Both use the "Light" control type. I switched it to "Advanced" only to copy the following code:

Actinics -
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Time 13:00 to 20:59 Then ON
If Temp > 80.5 Then OFF
Min Time 060:00 Then OFF

Daylights -
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Time 16:00 to 19:14 Then ON
If Temp > 79.5 Then OFF
Min Time 060:00 Then OFF

Power outage occurred at 04:30 and was restored ~04:35. Both lights came on at that point...a big surprise to the fish and corals, obviously.

Bump...

Is there ANY way to improve the program such that the DC4HD outlets do not come on incorrectly following a power outage event??
