hydrofoamer silence ipump nlet connection

The retail webistes list the outlet as 3/4." I can't find any spec. for the inlet connection. Do these pumps have inlet connection capability; and can these pumps be connected to plumbing in leak-free fashion, such as used on an external recirculating type skimmer?

Yes, and it is the same, 3/4". Two hosebarbs are included that fit 5/8 and 3/4" hose. Be careful with PVC fittings, while you can use them the pump has a straight thread and fittings are sealed by orings, most PVC is tapered and if overtorqued will crack and destroy the pump.

Just to clarify for future searches. I was mistaken, I had confused the question and my answer relates to the Silence pumps (return pumps), the Hydrofoamer silence pumps have no ability for an intake to be connected for use as a recirculating skimmer pump. The output is 3/4" but the intake cannot be attached to a pipe.
