One bit of advice, don't gauge a skimmer by the manufacturer's ratings; most of them are complete BS. Physically look at the skimmer and see one I operation if you can and get the biggest and baddest skimmer you can afford. Your choice [I]should[I] end up being a skimmer rated for much more than your tank volume.

Im running a SRO 6000 currently and man does that thing pull out goodness.

I have a heavily stocked 60g cube. I dose vodka daily, have a canister filter with chemipure in all chambers that's cleaned weekly and one bag replaced every 3-4 weeks on rotation, and a overpowered Reef Octopus SRO-1000INT. I also change about 5 gallons a week.
