ID Please
I seen this seahorse at my local fish store but it was already sold. I fell in love with this beauty. It was half yellow and half purple. The photo doesn't even justify its beautiful colors.

My guess would be H. comes. Hard for me to tell from that pic though. Some of the more experienced seahorse keepers might be able to give you a more definitive ID.
You could go back to the LFS and ask where they got the seahorse from. If it's wild caught or tank/netpen raised you're better off that you didnt buy it. One of the best places to go in the US for seahorses is seahorsesource.com I think they will be selling H. comes fairly soon. Those colors are very nice on that one though, but it could always change on you once you get it to your tank

Yup, H. comes. There have been some larger Tank Raised H. comes showing up the last couple weeks. You'll likely have to deworm her and go through quarantine protocols to remove any parasites.
