Anyone have experience with them?

How's (s)he doing? Every filefish I've had (including two blacksaddles) waited 3 days before taking frozen mysis, and it was smooth sailing from there.

No luck.. Lost it to starvation... Maybe it was starving at the LFS before I bought it home as it was there for weeks..
I kept a few filefish, all are eating pellets and mysis, the 2nd day.. Only this one gave me problem... I will grab the next one that come..

Yup, I have no problem with orange spotted.. I have a feeding pair right now, that is on mini pellets.. Just no luck with the black saddle, maybe I left it there at the LFS too long...

Were there any other fish in the tank with your blacksaddle? They like to observe what the other fish do, before jumping in and trying to steal everybody else's food.

It is in the tank with a smaller tassled filefish, no aggression, it is just very shy..
