DM-1 dual inline TDS meter Err

Hi, I have a dual inline TDS meter for a Kent Maxxima RO system. On both the inline and outline it is reading Err. I replaced the batteries, and cleaned the probes, but am still getting an Err reading, does anyone have any other ideas of what my problem could be or something else I could do, I'm all ears.

Thanks

You've probably accidentally disconnected the sensor cables. It’s an easy problem to fix. Gently push on the probe wire plug to reseat it. You'll likely feel it pop back into place. Within a few seconds of doing that, you'll see the readout change from ERR.

The ERR reading will appear if the sensor cables are disconnected or if the reading is higher than the range of the meter (which is unlikely, since it’s 9990 ppm).
