Not photoshopped. This is one of Matt Pedersens clowns from the Lightning project. You can see "momma" here:

Those are breeders battling it out for the first batch of lightning clowns.
There will be many more for sale after this. http://www.lightning-maroon-clownfish.com/ I'm guessing the lightning set will go for well over $10,000. Or you can throw in the single stripe for probably close to $2,000.

it appears there are 39 suckers born everyday if someone is willing to pay over $5,000 for a clownfish then they obviously dont care about money.to me it isnt worth more than $20 but thats just me.

Market determines value. Auction format is the perfect means of determining true value. That fish is obviously worth 5k, someone's bid that much. A breeder will buy it, and a mate for it I'm sure, breed them, and make a ton of money on the babies. Everyone always says it's crazy, stupid, not worth it. What would you recommend? They buy some $10 pet store clowns and raise them up and breed them? Yeah, there's money to be made that way! Lol.

That fish is ugly as hell, I wouldn't take it if it was free. But in the same note I don't really care for clown fish.

At that price the seller better deliver it personally. He's probably going to fly it first class too... Even if I was a millionaire.
