Mini maxi budding?

I believe this mini maxi is budding?but right from the base. If it is budding how do I remove the original from the plug so the others can get light? Can I remove all the buds and plug each one?

Or is this even a mini maxi? That's what the Lfs told me. Now I'm thinking it's a Ricordea yuma… because of the budding

It looks like a Yuma to me. It will separate on its own.
