Isn't everything in the ocean under threat from warming waters (maybe the article says that, didn't read it)?

I’m by no means an expert but according to National Geographic, ocean temps have only gone up .18 degrees Fahrenheit over the last century. I imagine there are many other factors contributing to die off on reefs, temp not being a major one. Excuse my ignorance if I am wrong, I would love to see more info.
