For Those in the NorthEast ....

Test run the genny (if you have one) and have some gasoline reserves on hand. Better to have and not need than to need and not have!!!

Got back into the hobby ..... planned to keep it simple ..... yeah, right ..... clearly I need a new plan! Pet peeve: anemones host clowns; clowns do not host anemones!

Current Tank Info: 450 Reef; 120 refugium; 60 Frag Tank, 30 Introduction tank; multiple QTs

That is one of my fall chores. Have already used mine a couple times this year. -30F and no power is not fun.

Ugh, really hope I make it through without losing power this storm. Already dealt with 3+ days no power this year and been so slammed haven't had time to get a genny yet. Stacking a nice big load of wood inside, so at the very least I'll have the wood stove cranked.

My build thread:

Current Tank Info: 65 gallon mixed reef, Eshopps sump and HOB overflow, RO-110int skimmer, Reefbreeder 32" photons V1.

Hope that all goes well and no one loses power.

Fish are not disposable commodities, but a worthwhile investment that can be maintained and enjoyed for many years, providing one is willing to take the time to understand their requirements and needs

Current Tank Info: 625g, 220g sump, RD3 230w, Vectra L1 on a closed loop, 3 MP60s, MP40. Several QTs

Genny good here. Propane tank full. Winds are rising quickly and temps are in the low 20s. Moderate sleet. Envy the fish today where it’s 79 and breezy.

Current Tank Info: 500g In-Wall Reeftank. SPS Dominant. Barebottom. 40g LPS Dominant. Barebottom. 125g Sump. Barebottom.
