Will the tank share a wall with the garage? Setting it up and figuring out the plumbing is my favorite part of a new tank

Nope.. it’s in its own room which used to be my master closet. Been set up for about 4-5 months now

Awesome photo! Incredible tank build. What ATI light bulbs were on? I am trying to decide what lights to put above my acrylic tank. I am concerned about heat damaging the tank structure so I’ve ruled out my old metal halides. I have some VHOs, but again probably too much heat. I like the look of your T5s. Are you happy with the ATIs?

Thanks. I love the ATI. Currently running only one channel at a time. I run channel 1 for half the day with two B+ bulbs. Channel 2 only for the second half with a B+ and a P+. Will probably replace the P+ with an actinic some time soon. I had the C+ on channel 2, but it was too strong.

I’m a little worried about water temp this summer.. gets hot in Phoenix. I might end up having to run a chiller because T5s do pump out some heat

Get some fans to run across the top of the tank. A big $20 box fan is probably more than enough

Yep already have a fan that’s programmed to come on at 78.5 degrees that’s on top of the sump. Will definitely have to add a fan for the lights
