Current Sales on Instant Ocean 200g?

Anybody know of where it's on sale currently? Cheapest I've seen is $54 for 200g box.
Thanks,
Tom

Ive been getting it at BRS. For the 5$ difference I get free shipping and the additional preferred reefer points.

Of course Amazon if you have prime for the free shipping anyways.

Thanks MC! I might have to get one quick and keep searching for 'the deal'. I've paid $44 before.

Not long ago Dr. F & S would have it for $39 with free shipping quite often.

I doubt we'll see it that cheap anymore, unless they are trying to get rid of stock. They are pushing the Liveaquaria salt now(their own brand).

up until 6-8 months ago they were $40 to your door from amazon. It's $50 now which is still a great price to have it at your doorstep but I feel bad doing that to the ups/usps driver. Several months ago I shipped 60lb of lead in a usps MFR box and the employee commented "I was hospitalized two days a few months back from a heavy package like this". Turns out it was one of my boxes of instant ocean. She was bent over, lifting or rolling it on a dolly a co worker was loosely holding, apparently angled up a bit. the weight of the box caused the dolly handle to slip from the co worker's hands and popped the poor gal right on the noggin.

Now I buy 160g buckets from the lfs for $40

Also check out the price on Amazon for the 50 gallon bags. My last two orders they were only $10.00 plus change and today they were a little over $12.00.

I remember when it was like $30 a few years ago. With all the brands of salt out here in the 50-60$ range it's hard to find the value on IO anymore. I use it because I don't think much difference in some salt when dosing or using CaRx. I could be wrong but I'm happy with IO. I just had this conversation with a guy at my LFS.

I get them from my LFS. I usually tank 10 of the 200 gallon cases at a time and he uses my orders to get his cost down with a bigger order. I end up paying around $36 a case. Fortunately for me, I am here in So. Cal and the LFS picks them up at the local IO distributor so there is no freight involved. That said, you might talk to a few LFS’s in your area and see if they will work with you to get their cost down. This assuming you’re order more than just a few cases.

It should be free shipping on Amazon with or without prime since it's over $25.

I guess I am lucky in that the one LFS (thatpetplace) sells it for $40 in store and i can use the monthly 20% off aquatic purchase coupons on em. So I buy a few boxes at once.
