FINNEX 22G GLASS M-TANK w/ 150watt HQI + 36W PC + LED UPGRADE JOURNAL (pics a must!)

Welcome! You may remember my 5.5G AGA Nano-reef all in one that I built... if not I will post a few pictures in my next post! My birthday happens to be in 24 days and I believe this is what my lovely girlfriend will be getting me:

http://*******.com/qpjv6

and a stand.

I can't wait! This tank is new to the market so I would like to get everyone's opinion on it before she gets it for me... and then stay tuned for the image-comprehensive setup of this new aquarium!

Already saw it, but thanks for the info anyway! I like the non-rounded corners better and the whole fact that it's seamless. Check out my 5.5 nano... i was thinking of transferring it into the big tank once it is setup but I think I will keep it seperate as a quarantine / grow-out tank... ahh who knows I would love to sell it locally and let someone else have the joy of owning it, i'm asking $500 for the complete setup.

That is a sweet tank. I'm thinking of going that route when the funds come in. Where are you getting the tank from? I checked w/Finnex and they only gave me places back east that sell them. No one on the west coast is a supplier for them.

Your girlfriend wouldn't happen to have an equally generous and lovely sister or friend who is looking for a reef man of their very own? Would she?

It never hurts to ask....

Great tanks there, you lucky guy!

YAY! My 5.5 Nano made the tedious 4 hour journey back to school with no causualties and not a drop of water spilled! Pics to come soon once my girlfriend returns my camera oh and big props to glad press and seal wrap.... one sheet press and sealed on the top held all the water in for the entire journey!

I dont have MH, but from what I hear, 14k phoenix is the most popular and best looking bulb. Its not too yellow(10k) or too blue (20), which is good.

I emailed Ken from Finnex and I'm waiting for his reply (probably on Tuesday). I asked about the 22g glass M-Tank.

PA has the 20g by the way. I'm sure others have seen it, but I posted this because some people seemed interested. It's acrylic though, and I'm not much of a fan of acrylic, especially for this small of a tank. The odd thing is that it's quite a bit more and it doesn't have the skimmer(refugium instead). I realize that acrylic costs more, but it's about $75 more for a tank that's a bit smaller and doesn't have the skimmer. Seems odd to me. I was actually thinking about going with the Biocube from Oceanic, since I can get the 14g locally for about $180. The lighting is a bit on the week side, but I only want it for softies. I have MH over my main tank, so this would be for a "change of pace".
