once againg my point is proven, that you dont need 1000g tank to be TOTM.

Very nice looking tank. What is that white coral on the right. Is it alive? Close up pic? Or any new pic for that matter.

I am sorry i kept you waiting so much my friends but i am waiting to get a "good" camera this weekend so i can share with you some nice tank-shots.

For the begining i have some shots of the aquarium's hardware...

As i said it is a 80g tank without sump but with a hang-on refugium with chaetomorpha macro-algae and and a diy zeovit filter built-in.
This refugium - zeofilter was custom made by acrylic in order to fit the back of my tank due to the lack of space .

As long as the filtering is concerned i have two deltec mce 600 skimmers (one of them flows to the refugium).
An external filter (eheim 2028) is also used for mechanical filtering and to provide the zeo filter with a precise and stable flow.
Carbon is placed inside the refugium in a net.

I have a Jalli luminaire with 2x150W HQI reef octapus at 14000K and 5 T5 39W , 2 of them operate with a diy dimmer (1 korralenzucht coral light , 2 korallenzucht fiji purple , 1 giesemann aquablue plus , 1 aquamedic actinic).

For water circulation i have 2 modded 6025 nanostream (i estimate their current flow is ~6000l/h) , 1 nanostream 6045 , one turbelle 6100 and 7240 with tunze single controller and one marea 3200.

I have also a Schuran pico twice calcium reactor and a Atman chiller for the hot summer nights .

I have 2 R/O one with 8 stages and the other with 7 stages for plenty of pure water .

There is also a tunze osmolator and an elliwel temperature controller.

Now to the water parameters......

Temperature 27 C
PH 8.0 to 8.1
CA 400-410
KH 7-7.3
MG 1280-1300
K 370-380
SG 1025

As i 've told you before i am using the zeovit system.
I use zeo-bak , zeo7 , zeostart , Pohl's coral vitalizer , zeo amino acid , coral snow , b-balance and for the water changes i use KZ reefers best salt (10% weekly).

From time to time i feed kent zoo-max , phyto-max and chroma-max .

I hope this weekend to share with you my little treasure.

@ whisperer : this coral is a white-yellow with purple polyps acropora suharsonoi ...

Beautiful tank Teo.
Not too crowded but well matured already, just how I like them.

Bravo!

Can you tell us the dimensions of the tank and how long has been set up?

Thanks.
Regards,
André

Most of corals , are in my tank for more than 1,5 year but there are also few that i got before summer .
The tank has been running 3 years now and in the next year i am planning to make a bigger one .

I like this tank a lot! There is so much aquascaping strategy in it! The corals and the clams are positioned so nicely! The whole setup is fantastic! I can not think of anything else than TOTM!
Teo, congratulations for the nice job! I am looking forward to seeing more photos of your beautiful tank!
Keep reefing!!!
